  • Choir

    Living Faith Mass Choir

    The LFAC Mass Choir is used by God to set the tone of and usher in the move of the Spirit during Sunday morning and evening services. The job of the choir is to prepare an atmosphere allowing the pastor easy delivery of the Word of God – and the Spirit ready accessibility of the minds of worshippers. Comprised of volunteers, the choir has been anointed in its mission and blessed to minister both nationally and internationally.

    Appearances and concert venues include:

    • BET’s Bobby Jones’ Gospel
    • European Council of Nations Convocation – Birmingham, England; Wiesbaden, Germany; Paris, France; Rome, Italy

    • Pentecostal Assemblies of the World International Convention – Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Atlanta, GA

    The choir has been given unprecedented opportunities in ministry through performing alongside artists such as Thomas Whitfield, Vickie Winans, Bobby Jones and New Life, Hezekiah Walker, Ricky Dillard & New G, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Karen Clark-Sheard, Twinkie Clark, Kim Burrell, Jonathan Nelson, and Marvin Sapp.

    Beginning as a promise from God to our pastor, Bishop Posey, the LFAC Mass Choir has proven indefatigable in praise and worship.

  • Christian Education

    Christian Education Department

    The Christian Education Department of Living Faith is represented by our Sunday School Program and the Living Faith Bible Institute.

    Sunday School classes are held every Sunday beginning at 10am, with classes in place for students from ages one to our Adult classes. Students are taught the Word of God from a formal Christian Education curriculum tailored to represent God’s revelation as given to this ministry.

    A spotlight is shined on our Primary and Teen Departments on Easter and during the Christmas Holiday, as they are presented in programs specific to the occasion.

    The philosophy of our teaching (in all departments) is that our presentation of God’s Word should represent His direction to us.

    Living Faith Bible Institute is the educational arm of the ministry. It was begun in 1988 as a means of communicating the information deposited into Bishop Posey through the Holy Spirit.

    Available classes include: Hermenuetics, Public Speaking, The Old Man is Dead, History of Pentecost, Paz de Christo (Conversational Spanish)

  • Christian Women

    Living Faith Apostolic Church Christian Women’s Auxiliary

    The Living Faith Apostolic Church Christian Women’s Auxiliary operates under the leadership and direction of the Pastor. Due to his progressiveness, a large part of our mission involves actively supporting both the church and the community-at-large.

    The support that we offer includes maintaining communication with individuals missing from services, as well as visiting those in nursing homes and hospitals. We also call on those who have requested visits and/or prayer. Physical help is also given, wherever and whenever needed.

    The CWA also assists with the hosting of special events and services that are facilitated here at Living Faith.  We actively maintain membership in and support our local, state, regional, and International Pentecostal Assemblies of the World’s Christian Women’s Auxiliary.

    Our endeavor as members of the Christian Women’s Auxiliary is to model Christ to others that souls may be won to Him. Not only this, but we are determined that OBEDIENCE will be our method of witness both to those seeking and those already saved. It is our belief that through our living the Word of God as “… (His) epistle written in (His) (heart), seen and read of all men…” (II Cor. 3:2), they will receive TRUTH, and learn by FAITH to live a life of holiness unto GOD.

  • Hospitality Committee

    Hospitality Committee

    The members of the Living Faith Hospitality Committee serve as a direct point of contact for new saints. Hospitality members are the first to greet new converts, escorting them to and helping to prepare them for baptism.

    The “New Birth” is stressed in new member orientation, with each person receiving material written by our pastor, Bishop Posey, and a pamphlet called “The Apostle’s Doctrine,” which contains scriptures regarding baptism in Jesus’ Name and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

    In order to ease the transition into New Life, new saints are assigned a “Hospitality Buddy.” This person takes on the privilege of calling and providing friend- and mentorship to those newly joined to us. Members of the Hospitality Committee emphasize the pastor’s accessibility (through highlighting his open office hours) and encourage new members to take full advantage. Befriending new saints has proven imperative, if for no other reason than to show them that someone cares.

  • Men’s Ministry

    Men’s Ministry

    The Men’s Ministry of Living Faith is dedicated to providing a welcoming atmosphere that will instruct and incite men to live lives wholly committed to God. We wholeheartedly embrace that this means being submissive to the will of God and obedient to God’s Plan of Salvation.

    We also perform outreach services that minister to the needs of those that are shut in and are actively becoming engaged in working on ministering to the various needs of the community.

    One of our key events is our hosting of an annual prayer breakfast focused on bringing men together through discussing the Word of God, methods for being more effective in ministry, and winning more of our brothers to Christ.

  • Nurse’s Guild

    Nurse’s Guild

    The LFAC NURSES’ GUILD is an auxiliary with a constituency made up of volunteer members of our church. The guild is formed for mutual aid and protection and to provide services to the church and community.

    The Nurses’ Guild’s primary focus is to cater to the needs of the LFAC congregation in the event of medical emergencies and/or health related issues during worship services, funerals, weddings, hospital/home visits and other church related events.

    The Nurses’ Guild can and will also assist in the church dining area for health and safety if the need arises. Our members are trained in CPR and First Aid Administration and all services and tasks are conducted within our legal scope of practice prescribed by the State of Ohio.  Several members of the LFAC Nurses’ guild are nurses licensed by the State of Ohio.

    Membership recruitment is ongoing. We welcome professionals or non-professionals, males or females (over 18 years of age) as members of the Nurses’ Guild.

    Membership requirements:

    • May or may not have experience in health care;
    • Must have compassion/desire to care for the needs of others;
    • Must be in and maintain acceptable standing within the guidelines of the church by-laws;
    • Must complete within 3 months Basic First Aid and CPR; or have completed a course in Red Cross First Aid/CPR.

    Romans 12:13, 15:1 states that we are to contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality; we who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

  • Pastor’s Aid Committee

    Our directive is taken from 1 Tim 5:17-18 which states: “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.”

    Accordingly, the Pastor’s Aid Committee of LFAC was formed to help with the needs of our Pastor and First Lady. We lovingly serve them and their children through prayers, financial support, and encouraging words. We also assist in the care of visiting guest speakers. Our duties include maintaining the necessary items for the pulpit area; assigning Armor Bearers to the Pastor and guest speakers; assisting auxiliaries with planning of special events, and maintaining the cleaning of the Pastor’s robes.

    Our ultimate goal and primary focus is to be a blessing to the Pastor and First Lady that God has given us.
