Tracey Yvonne (Smith) Posey was born and reared in Springfield, Ohio.  She is a graduate of Oberlin College and continued her postgraduate studies at The Ohio State University. In 2008, she received her Master of Science in Management (MSM) from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University.  While at Oberlin, she was baptized in Jesus’ name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost under the pastorate of District Elder Laurence Nevels.

Sister Tracey came to Living Faith Apostolic Church upon the recommendation of (then) District Elder Raymond Lloyd, Sr.  There, the Lord began to reveal His will for her life.

In 1984, she became the wife of (then) Elder Edgar Posey.  Although uncertain of her “new life,” Sister Posey was eager as God assured her that all of her life had been preparation for this “assignment.”

As first lady, Sister Posey is very active in the ministry of Living Faith.  She is a Sunday School teacher, former co-director of the Youth Choir, and a gifted musician and director of the Living Faith Mass Choir.

Outside of her local church responsibilities, Sister Posey serves as Chair of the Board of the FCI, Too! Early Learning Center. She is also the former Vice President of the Ohio District Council Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Alliance, and previously served on the Church Extension Board of the Ohio District Council of Pentecostal Churches, Inc. Recently, she has been blessed to be elected to the Hallowed Hills Board of the same organization – and has already been appointed its Secretary.

Along with His other opportunities for service, the Lord has blessed Sister Posey to see the elevation of her husband to the bishopric of the 59th Episcopal District of Venezuela, giving her new responsibilities and opportunities for growth.

Sister Posey is the proud (and often, bemused) mother of sons, Ian and Joshua; daughter, Erin; and the hopeful grandmother and great-grandmother of Mikeisha and Katin Anthony.
